The Plainfield Park District’s board of commissioners has contracted with The Change Coaches, LLC to assist in gaining insight into diversity, equity, and inclusion perceptions within the Park District and the communities we serve.
In order to create and execute a Diveristy, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) roadmap, the Park District is looking for volunteers from the community to take part in an empathy interview.
An empathy interview is an approach to finding out as much as possible about a person’s experience as a user of a space, a process, or an environment.
The group is looking for park and trail users, program participants, and other community members to participate in the empathy interview process.
Interviews will last 20-30 minutes and the insights will be used for DEI planning, goal setting, and accountability.
If you are interested in participating, please contact Executive Director Carlo Capalbo at capalbo@plfdparks.org or call 815-436-8812 by September 22, 2020.
