The Plainfield Park District is hosting an Open House to present the Bentley Property Park Development Project and gather resident feedback 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., September 21 at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center, 24550 W. Renwick Road in Plainfield.
The Plainfield Park District is seeking an Open Space Land and Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant for the acquisition of the Bentley Property. This site is located at the end of Bentley Drive just east of Bronk Road on the DuPage River. This land will allow for a trail to connect from Riverside Parkway south down to Sunset Parkway on the east side of the DuPage River, where it will connect to the Will County Forest Preserve trail and run all the way down to Hammel Woods Forest Preserve.
